Mid Cheshire Hospitals SPA will triage your referral based on the information you provide and the hospital will contact you to start your antenatal care. In the meantime if you are worried about your pregnancy, please tell your GP straight away.

Pregnant people can use this portal to self refer for maternity care at Leighton Hopsital in Crewe. It takes approximately 10 minutes to complete and you will need your NHS number. If you don't know your NHS number please visit https://www.nhs.uk/nhs-services/online-services/find-nhs-number/ It is important that you refer for maternity care as soon as possible after finding out you are pregnant to ensure we can give you an appointment at the right time. Your request will be processed and you will be contacted within 4 weeks. You do not need to inform your GP that you are pregnant however if you do have any existing health problems, it’s a good idea to make an appointment to see your GP, so that they can review any medication you’re taking and see if you need any additional care. When answering the 'Do you Smoke?' question answer 'Yes' if you have smoked tobacco at any point in the last two weeks.
